Nutmeg

Nutmeg is a spice that is derived from the seed of the nutmeg tree, which is native to the Banda Islands in the Moluccas (Indonesia). The tree produces two spices: nutmeg and mace. Nutmeg is the seed kernel inside the fruit, while mace is the lacy, reddish-orange aril that covers the seed.
